About

I am a psychotherapist licensed in New York and New Jersey as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I serve individuals, couples, and groups from diverse backgrounds and personal history.

I specialize in working with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, work stress, complex family dynamics, loss and grief, life transitions, and struggles with identity. I collaborate with clients to understand their unique needs and create an attuned therapeutic process for each person. My approach integrates the principles of humanistic, modern psychodynamic, somatic, and relational modalities as well as attachment, parts work, cognitive behavioral therapy, and mindfulness.

I am bilingual in Korean. I have worked extensively with Korean Americans, AAPI, and BIPOC on issues related to multicultural identity, intergenerational trauma, interracial relationships, multicultural family dynamics, and immigration experiences. I am mindful of the impact of race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, religion, and sociocultural factors in the therapeutic relationship.
